Usage
L-tryptophan is an essential amino acid for livestock and poultry, and as an essential amino acid, it can only be provided from feed. L-tryptophan plays an important role in improving the efficiency of protein production for the animal body. Lack of L-tryptophan will result in lower growth rate and thus reduce the overall efficiency of the animal feed.
Also, as a neurotransmitter and hormone precursor, L-tryptophan participates in the regulation of the neurophysiological process.
